WASHINGTON — Top Obama administration officials worked to repair the strained U.S. relationship with Afghan President Hamid Karzai, using a spate of Sunday television appearances to describe the Afghan leader as a strong and vital American ally.

Weirsdo, It is a neat building but there&#039;s still a lot of work yet to be done.</description>
